Submit a correction
Matching a film to the right album is the hardest part of the pipeline, and it does get things wrong. If you have found one, this is the fastest way to get it fixed.
What happens to it
Every report is read by a person before anything changes.
Low-confidence album matches are already queued for manual review rather than published blind. Mistakes still get through, most often where a score album and a songs compilation share a title, or where the same person is credited under two spellings and the catalogue has not merged them.
Corrections are checked against the source data by hand — the MusicBrainz release, the Discogs edition, the sleeve — rather than applied on trust, so a fix will not appear on the site immediately. That is deliberate: an unverified correction is the same problem as an unverified entry. Where the data comes from explains what each source is trusted for.
An email address is optional and used only to reply about the correction itself. For anything that is not a catalogue error — a question, or a request to remove something — write to info@cuefinda.com.
